Breakfast at the hotel
Get ready for a great continental breakfast. There will be freshly baked breads and rolls, tubs of sweet butter and crocks of marmelade. Several types of dry cereal are available along with meats, cheeses, and your favorite morning beverages.
Transfer to Nuremberg
Travel along the world-famous Autobahn where there is no speed limit (except for your law-abiding bus driver, that is). Watch as the locally built Mercedes, BMWs, Porches, and Audis zoom past, and enjoy the picturesque villages and town that dot the landscape, including the city of Ingolstadt where Audis are manufactured, and where Marie Shelley got her inspiration for the novel Frankenstein.
Lunch and shopping in Nuremberg (on own)
Get a taste for life in modern Germany by visiting a shopping mall and grocery store. Browse the shelves and racks for what the average German eats and wears. Fill up for lunch on fruit, bread, yoghurt, deli meats, German cheeses, and of course, German chocolate.
Tour Nuremberg
Nuremberg was the center of the German renaissance, with Albrecht Durer, Viet Stoss, Johann Pachelbel and of course, the masterful Meistersingers of Nuremberg. The city retained its old world charm up until WWII, when it was bombed heavily. Extraordinary care was taken to return it to its medieval glory. Visit St. Sebaldus where Johann Pachelbel was organist, and St. Lorenz which contains many sculptures by Viet Stoss. Don't forget the world famous toy museum.
Dinner in Nuremberg
Whether it's Sauerbraten, Jaegerschnitzel, Schweinebraten, or a pile of Nürnberger bratwursts, you'll enjoy your hearty dinner that will keep you warm well into the night.
Perform at the Nuremberg Christkindlmarkt
